Role Overview:
As a Mechanical Assembler at Tri-Star Industries Limited, you will play a vital role in ensuring the assembly of specialty emergency vehicles that meet our exacting standards. Our focus on building safe and reliable emergency vehicles demands a keen eye for detail and a commitment to precision.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with a dedicated team to assemble various components for finished cabinets for a vehicle’s final assembly.
Fasten components to pre-fabricated doors to form finished doors for final assembly
Cut and prepare fiberglass panels, flooring, and other essential components to be ready for final assembly.
Requirements:
To maintain the standard of excellence that defines Tri-Star and help create our renowned custom vehicles, we outline the following prerequisites for potential candidates:
Grade twelve or equivalent, a trade diploma would be an asset.
Ability to wear personal protective equipment as needed for each specific task and follow safety protocols.
Capable of using basic tools such as jigsaws, chop saws, drills, air tools, heat guns, wrenches, measuring tapes.
Can read and understand drawings and written specifications and instructions with minimal or no supervision.
Capable of lifting and moving heavy cabinets, both alone and with a team, and able to work on their feet for long periods of time.
Careful when handling things so they don’t get damaged.
Complete all paperwork required in the construction of vehicle components accurately and on time.
A willingness to learn and train for different areas of the ambulance build process and keep up with new innovations in the construction industry.
Ability to work alone with little direction.
Experience in the automotive industry would be considered an asset, but not a requirement.
