Mechanical Assembler

Role Overview:

As a Mechanical Assembler at Tri-Star Industries Limited, you will play a vital role in ensuring the assembly of specialty emergency vehicles that meet our exacting standards. Our focus on building safe and reliable emergency vehicles demands a keen eye for detail and a commitment to precision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a dedicated team to assemble various components for finished cabinets for a vehicle’s final assembly.

  • Fasten components to pre-fabricated doors to form finished doors for final assembly

  • Cut and prepare fiberglass panels, flooring, and other essential components to be ready for final assembly.


  • To maintain the standard of excellence that defines Tri-Star and help create our renowned custom vehicles, we outline the following prerequisites for potential candidates:

  • Grade twelve or equivalent, a trade diploma would be an asset.

  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment as needed for each specific task and follow safety protocols.

  • Capable of using basic tools such as jigsaws, chop saws, drills, air tools, heat guns, wrenches, measuring tapes.

  • Can read and understand drawings and written specifications and instructions with minimal or no supervision.

  • Capable of lifting and moving heavy cabinets, both alone and with a team, and able to work on their feet for long periods of time.

  • Careful when handling things so they don’t get damaged.

  • Complete all paperwork required in the construction of vehicle components accurately and on time.

  • A willingness to learn and train for different areas of the ambulance build process and keep up with new innovations in the construction industry.

  • Ability to work alone with little direction.

  • Experience in the automotive industry would be considered an asset, but not a requirement.
